Round 1 — Online Assessment

Date: 1st August
Candidates: 555

Almost all students were eligible for the on-campus OA. It consisted of 2 coding questions — 1 medium and 1 hard.

The first question was based on a house-painting/combination problem with constraints on neighbouring houses and houses at corresponding positions from opposite ends.

The second question was a harder array and clustering-based problem involving forming k clusters and finding the required centre-point value.

After the OA, 39 students were selected, and the results were announced on 8th August morning.

Round 2 — Technical Interview

Date: 10th August, 10 AM

This was a technical interview that lasted around 1 hour 15 minutes.

I got a particularly tough panel, and the interview was heavily focused on DSA and problem-solving. Apart from that, the interviewer went into a lot of detail about my projects, internships, hackathons, skills, and core subjects.

The interview was quite challenging, but I managed to answer most of the questions.

After Round 2, 15 out of 39 students were selected for Round 3.

Round 3 — Technical + Behavioural

Date: 10th August, around 4 PM

The third round was a combination of technical and behavioural questions and lasted around 35–40 minutes.

There was a strong focus on my projects and internship experience, with detailed discussions about how my projects worked and the technologies I had used. There were also questions around RAG, semantic search, cosine similarity, DBMS, and other technical concepts.

The round also included several aptitude and behavioural questions, including topics such as teamwork, handling conflicts, and working with others.

Overall, I felt quite confident after both Round 2 and Round 3. A lot was discussed during the interviews, but I don't remember everything in detail.

By around 6:30 PM, the final results were announced. The top 10 students were announced, with 6 fixed selections and 4 waiting positions.

I ranked 7th, which unfortunately put me at 1st on the waiting list.
