We were hired for the role of intern through Barclays Hack-o-Hire 2026,

The process started out with a ppt round, where you were given 5 problem statements, you had to chose one and make the best PPT for it. This round lasted 10 days and the results arrived 12-15 days later, the second round was the 24hr hackathon at the Barclays Pune campus. Before that we had to give a 50 question online OA, which had questions from AI/ML, C++, Python, DSA, DMS( SQL and Nosql). This was said to be considered only during the interview round. After that the hackathon happened, 24 hours heavily monitored, one extra challenge after 8 hrs into the hackathon, ended with a presentation. After that a lunch break was given at the end of which the top 10 across all problem statements were announced (top 2 for each statement). These top 10 then competed in the final presentation round where they pitched in front of all 3 campuses and all the VPs, MDs, etc. Out of these, top 3 were chosen. That was the Hackathon. The third round was the interview round. based on the impression left on the mentors, people were shortlisted for the 3rd round. here they mostly asked HR/project related technical questions. On rare occasions they also asked about other teams presentations, solutions, and how u learnt from them. based on how you answer you will be judged. This is the final round after which the results are announced within a week or 2. Thats the whole process
