This was the most technically focused round and involved a detailed discussion of my technical background, projects, and problem-solving approach.
Project Discussion
The interviewer asked for a detailed walkthrough of the projects mentioned on my resume, with particular focus on:
How the projects were designed and implemented
Why specific technologies and approaches were chosen
The reasoning behind different development decisions
Challenges faced during development
How the projects could be improved further
The discussion focused heavily on understanding the "how" and "why" behind the projects rather than just their features.
DSA
I was asked to solve the "Product of Array Except Self-https://leetcode.com/problems/product-of-array-except-self/description/" problem.
I explained three different approaches, discussing the trade-offs and gradually optimizing the solution in terms of time and space complexity.
The interviewer was also interested in how I approached the problem and explained my reasoning while solving it.

This was a shorter, high-level technical round focused primarily on communication, clarity of thought, and broader technical awareness.
Project Explanation for a Non-Technical Stakeholder
I was asked to explain one of my core projects as if I were presenting it to a non-technical stakeholder.
I discussed:

The key features and functionality
How the solution helps users
The overall workflow
The technologies used, at a high level
The main focus was on explaining the project's value and functionality without relying heavily on technical terminology.

Technologies I am currently preparing for
Areas I want to explore further
My broader career goals
How I see my technical journey progressing
4. HR Round

The interview started with an interesting prompt:
"Introduce yourself without talking about anything technical."
The discussion then moved toward:
Situational and managerial questions
Handling professional challenges
Adaptability to different situations
Decision-making and problem-solving approach
Teamwork and collaboration
Professional attitude and goals
The round was less about technical knowledge and more about understanding how I think, communicate, and approach different situations.
Final Verdict
Selected for the Fractal Analytics Imagineer Program – 2027 Batch
The overall recruitment process tested a combination of aptitude, DBMS, Python, Web Scraping, SQL, project knowledge, DSA, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and behavioral skills.
For anyone preparing for a similar role, I would recommend having a strong understanding of everything mentioned on your resume. In my experience, being able to clearly explain what you built, why you built it, how it works, and the reasoning behind your technical decisions was particularly important.
The interviews were not limited to theoretical questions. They also evaluated how well you approach unfamiliar problems, communicate your thought process, and explain technical solutions to different audiences.
